The guest criteria

Who it's for.

Singles Weekend is designed for a specific kind of person. Here's everything you need to know about who attends, how the group is balanced, and whether this is right for you.

The requirements

A house full of like-minded singles.

Genuinely Single
You must be genuinely single — not separated, not "it's complicated." We ask every guest to declare this as part of our Guest Agreement at the time of booking.
Honesty here protects everyone in the group, including you. We take this seriously.
University Educated
A Bachelor's degree or higher is required. This isn't about elitism — it's about ensuring a house full of people with a shared level of intellectual curiosity and life experience.
Entrepreneurs and self-made professionals without a formal degree are assessed on a case-by-case basis. Get in touch if you're unsure.
Within the Age Bracket
Each event is run for a specific age group. You must fall within the bracket advertised for that event. We allow a margin of up to 12 months either side.
We currently run events for the 35–49 age group. A 25–39 bracket is planned for later in 2027.
Agree to Our Guest Agreement
Every guest signs a Guest Agreement covering our code of conduct, safety commitments, and community standards. This is non-negotiable and applies to everyone equally.
Age groups

The right people,
at the right stage.

February 2027 — Now Open
35–49
Years of age
Our Valentine's Weekend event is designed for singles in their late 30s and 40s. People who know what they want, value real conversation over small talk, and are ready for something different.
Coming Later in 2027
25–39
Years of age
A dedicated bracket for singles in their mid-to-late 20s and 30s is planned for later in 2027. Register your interest and we'll let you know when dates are confirmed.
The balance guarantee

Always exactly
10 and 10.

We are committed to a strict 50/50 gender balance. Our team monitors bookings closely to ensure an equal split of men and women at every event.

If the balance cannot be achieved — due to last-minute cancellations or unforeseen circumstances — we will delay the event rather than compromise the group dynamic. We've seen what happens when the balance is off. It changes everything.

A dedicated host from our team will be on-site throughout the entire weekend to keep things running smoothly and ensure everyone feels welcome from the moment they arrive.

One more thing

Feel free to bring a friend.

If joining a weekend full of strangers feels like a stretch, you're welcome to bring one single friend — provided they are the opposite gender to you and they register separately.

That said — 85% of guests arrive alone and wouldn't have it any other way. The shared experience of not knowing anyone is a big part of what makes the weekend work.

Knowing you're all in the same boat is oddly liberating. By Friday night, it won't matter that you arrived alone.

Both guests must meet all eligibility criteria individually. Registering together does not guarantee placement in the same event if balance requirements cannot be met.

Still not sure if it's right for you?

The most common thing we hear from guests after the weekend is: "I almost didn't come." The hesitation is completely normal. A house full of strangers is a confronting idea — until you're actually there.

If you're genuinely single, curious about people, and ready for a proper break from the city — this is probably right for you.

If you have any questions before registering, feel free to reach out directly.
