Singles Weekend brings together 10 men and 10 women at a historic 1920s pub in the Hunter Valley — Abernethy Hotel, a beautifully restored country property with verandahs, a beer garden, a dining room and enough character to make a long weekend feel like an adventure.

Our philosophy is simple: everything happens naturally. You are free to spend the weekend exactly as you choose. We organise a winery visit for the group, but you're just as welcome to curl up with a good book or enjoy a board game by the fire.

In the evenings, the whole group dines together as the wine starts to flow. This relaxed, unforced approach works — proven by the incredible number of lasting friendships and relationships born from our very first weekends.
